Estioko, MBA, CPA, CISA, CFE COURSE DESCRIPTION This Course aims to provide the participants an in-depth learning on the concepts and principles of IT Auditing that will be reinforced by practical approaches in the control and auditing of IT-enabled business and operating environment. It helps the participant finally realized that IT Auditing is “not as hard you think it is”.
Tested Internal Control Questionnaires (ICQs) are provided in each module which serve as a precursor for the participant to relate the learning into his/her environment leading to better understanding and more confidence when certain doubts and reservations are clarified during the workshop/Q&A. Logical Security 11. “Increased Audit Productivity” * Introduction to Computer Assisted Audit Techniques(CAATs)/Continuous Auditing Mr. Juan B. Estioko, MBA, CPA, CISA, CFE Juan “John” B. Estioko is currently the First Vice President & Chief Audit Executive of the Philippine Bank of Communications. He is an experienced professional having been employed earlier by other banks, one of which was in Saudi Arabia. He had served various functions such as mainframe programming and systems analysis, financial, operations and information systems audits and risk management and regulatory compliance. He is presently a member of the Audit Committee of Bancnet, a member of the board of the ISACA Manila and IIA Philippines, a member of the local and international associations of certified fraud examiners and a member of the Bank Administration Institute – Philippines. He has been and still a resource person of ISACA Manila and IIA-Philippines in their public/ in-house training/seminar on Fundamentals of IS Auditing and Fraud, Detection and Prevention. He had talked on these topics in in-house training with the banks’ regulator, with some big corporations in various industries and with various government agencies through the partnership of ISACA Manila and the National Computer Center/Commission on Information and Communications Technology. He is one of IIA-Philippines’ reviewers in Part 3 of the CIA review classes and was also sent thrice by IIA Philippines to Malaysia to conduct a review in the same area of the CIA review classes of IIA-Malaysia. He is also a reviewer on IT Governance in ISACA Manila’s CISA review classes. John holds a degree of Bachelor of Science in Commerce at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He finished his master’s degree on business administration at De La Salle University Graduate School of Business Administration with the highest possible general point average (GPA) of 4. He is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). He recently served the Institute of Internal Controls (IIC), USA as reviewer on Parts 5 and 6 for the first batch of Certified Internal Control Auditors (CICA) candidates in the Philippines. He is at present pursuing his certification to be a CICA. COURSE FEE:
