Introduction to Networking September 10, 2009 - September 10, 20096:00 - 9:00 PM Synopsis This seminar is an overview to non-technical professionals to the networking environment and data communication. It will explain how networks operate by explaining the basics of the hardware, software and protocols components. It will explain the networking terminologies and acronyms. It will provide the necessary foundation before moving on to advance networking courses. Course Objectives At the end of the presentation, the participants are expected to: 1. Understand key concepts of Networking 2. Identify the different networking hardware and software 3. Understand the OSI model and TCP/IP
