Linux has been increasingly gaining popularity over the years. It is the most widely used free and open source operating system.
This seminar provides discussion on security, control, and audit areas and the tools that may be used in conducting security review or audit of Linux environment. The approach is on the practical aspects of security and auditing.

Resource Speaker

Mr. Wilbert Ontoy Has been a Security Architect for Database over the years. He has been working in languages from C, C++, C#, VB, Perl,Python, T-SQL, PL SQL, ASP .NET, and J2EE. Very proficient in both Internet, extranet and intranet (VPN) design, configuration, and implementation. He has spent over a decade as a consultant, IT Security practitioner and trainer, delivering solutions to tens of thousands of IT professionals from the most prestigious organizations and corporations around.

Mr. Ontoy has been a speaker on some IT Security Conferences both National and local, even abroad; with topics but not limited to Ethical Hacking, Computer Forensic, Linux Security, Windows Security, Secure Coding, Penetration Testing. Currently he has certification on Certified Ethical Hacker, Oracle Certified Associates, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: MS SQL Server 2005, License Penetration Tester, EC Council Certified Security Analyst and looking forward for CISSP, CGEIT and some ISMS certification.
